Fiber Processing

It is our intention to offer high quality service with affordable pricing – we want to help you get your fleece out of storage and into the market place.

Introductory Pricing:

Rovings – includes wash, pick, dehair and carding into rovings, bumps, batts or the new rug yarn (roving around a core) will be done for $15 per pound based on finished weight with a 2 pound minimum.

Felt Sheets - includes wash, pick, dehair, carding into batts then felting into 3'x4' sheets of your desired weight will be done for $20 per pound. A 2 pound min applies only to orders that are going straight to felt. If you would like your waste from the dehairer run to felt there is no min. Felts made from waste are good for mulch matts in place of landscape fabric as well as kennel pads for your favorite pet.

Yarn – includes wash, pick, dehair, card, spin and finishing will be done for $30 based on finished weight with a 2 pound minimum.

All fiber must be skirted prior to processing – if you don’t have time we will offer a skirting service for fleeces that we process for a flat fee of $10 per fleece.
